Jennifer Aguillard - President

Jennifer started her physical therapy career over 35 years ago. A passion inside grew when she began treating children. In particular, early intervention. Seeing how early intervention can literally change the course of a life, she pursued advanced training in many areas to learn the latest technology for all diagnoses. She feels all children with special needs should have awareness and access to the latest evidence in treatment.

Reesa & Corey Bazar

Reesa and Corey are a powerhouse couple in Lafayette, LA. They are parents to Levi, Liam, Miley, Maeve and the late Anniston. Reesa runs Anniston’s Arrows, a clothing boutique for children, in honor of her late daughter Anniston. Anniston had Krabbe disease and was ultimately unable to live with the effects of the disease.

 

Drake Aguillard

Drake runs Charles Aguillard Insurance Agency in Eunice, LA. He is also Jennifer’s husband and has supported her endeavors helping special needs children during their 40 year marriage! He is happy to serve on the board of such a special non profit lead by his wife’s passion.

 

Jack Aguillard

Jack is a transactional attorney in the Lafayette office of Liskow & Lewis, primarily representing corporate clients in mergers & acquisitions, commercial financings, and general corporate governance matters. Jack is a two-time graduate of LSU and began his legal career in the Houston office of an international law firm. Jack and his wife Molli returned to Louisiana in early 2025 and settled in Lafayette, instantly feeling right at home.

MONA FONTENOT

Mona Fontenot is a retired teacher familiar with special education.

She is also grandmother to a special needs grandaughter.

She has 2 daughters and one is a physical therapist in Texas. Making her familiar with rehabilitation needs as well. She also suffered scoliosis as a child and has learned to live with it as an adult.

Merisa Fruge Edwards

Merisa works for St. Landry Schools as a Special Education Educator. She is mother of 3 and grandmother of 2!. Her last child, Grayson was born prematurely and received early intervention. He had a full recovery from some deficits presented at birth. Proving the power of early intervention healing our babies born prematurely.
